Apple pickin'

This morning we woke up bright and early to head over to our friend's house to pick some apples. Their family owns acreage in South Phoenix with an apple orchard on it. They have generously let friends come and pick apples for themselves so when we got the invite, we decided to join them. Not only did we pick for ourselves but we helped pick for the Rio's Farmers' Market on Tuesday. Sophie was a trooper and helped us throw apples into the box for Rio. She also sampled some of the apples we picked and some of the apple muffins that our friends made.

We had such a fun morning picking apples with the Allens! Thank you so much for inviting us!!!
