Josh isn't a big fan of birthdays but we (his family and I) wanted to do something special for him since he was turning 30. On his actual birthday we spent the day as just the 3 of us. We hung out at home and tried to complete the tri-fecta. (This year, we only got to two of the three.) If you dont know what it is, you are sure missing out. Joe's Farm Grill, Liberty Market, and Joe's BBQ all give you $10 off your birthday meal... so basically it's FREE! Which is something that makes my amazing husband REALLY happy! On Saturday, Steph and Joel hosted a BBQ at their house for Josh and then after that we went to a spring training game. It was a perfect way to celebrate Josh! Cubbies cupcakes from Sprinkles, baseball, and family... there isn't much more that he could want.
