4 years ago, I married the love of my life and best friend! I am so happy to be married to such wonderful man! He is everything that I could ask for in a husband. He is the most hardworking, driven, brilliant, kind, hilarious, caring, and supportive man I have ever met. I love sharing everyday with him and I look forward to many more years together!

Numero Tres
Our best friends, Tim and April, threw an amazing shower for Josh and I today! We had so much fun hanging out with our friends from church at the Allen's house. Tim and April prepared a delicious BBQ and fun family games for everyone! It was such a BLAST celebrating with everyone!!

My mother in law, sister in law, and Josh's Aunt Jerri, threw me a great baby shower on April 10th. It was definitely planned with love and was very special. The food, games, and guests were great! I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends and family.

Sophie's Crib
We are so blessed to have Tim and April as our best friends! Shortly after we announced that we were expecting they offered to give us their son Andrew's crib and Tim also offered to stain or paint it to match our nursery. It looks wonderful in Sophie's room and it's just one more thing that makes her room so special. Thank you very much, Leshers!
As the guys were putting the crib together, Tim told us that Andrew helped paint the crib. Josh joked that Andrew helped paint his future wife's crib and that it will be a fun story to tell their grandkids one day. :)

31 weeks
At 28 weeks, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. In order to keep it in control I have been sticking to a strict diet where I have cut out carbs and sugars. We are so thankful that Sophie is staying healthy and growing beautifully through all of this. A blessing that comes with having diabetes is that we will be keeping a close eye on our little girl to make sure that she isn't growing to be too big. Here are a couple of picture from our last ultrasound at 31 weeks. Sophie is now 4.5 pounds and she is no longer breech! YEAH!

Numero Uno
March 31st, my friends at Ishikawa threw a cute baby shower for me and another teacher. We had so much fun hanging out with our friends, munching on the delicious food that people brought, and opening the adorable baby gifts that we received!
