Mary Poppins

For Christmas, my parents got the whole family tickets to see the show, Mary Poppins. Growing up going to different Broadway Shows has been something that my family and I have always enjoyed doing. This time it was so much fun sharing this experience with Josh. My mom and dad decided that it would be really fun to make it a "dress up" occasion and go to the show and dinner afterwards. The show was very entertaining. Our favorite part was the tap routine to Chim- Chimney and when Bert walked upside down across the stage.
After the show ended we headed off to Fogo De Chao. What an experience that was! Once we got seated we dined for a couple hours straight on delicious meats served on skewers. The food was delicious the company was fantastic... we couldn't have asked for a better family outing! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Someone is ExCiTeD!!!

Sophie's DADDY is thrilled for her arrival...

Can you tell?

A Trip Down Memory Lane....

During Valentine's Day weekend, Josh, Joel, and I took a trip up north to hang out and visit Steph B. (She is Joel's wonderful girlfriend, our good friend, and the most talented photographer that we know!) While we were there we visited a cute little coffee shop and then tootled around downtown Flagstaff for awhile. It is so much fun spending time with those two! However, we thought it would be nice to let them spend some quality time together while we were going to take off and do the same thing.

That afternoon Josh and I took a side trip to one of our favorite places, Sedona. Since we have been married, Josh has surprised me numerous times with weekend visits to this BEAUTIFUL place. During our first visit, he took me to this little look out point and this time around we decided to revisit it. We had so much fun picnicing up there and just spending quality time together. We have so much fun together doing whatever is we decide to do and I can't imagine anything better than being with the LOVE of my life!

Three Amazing Years Later...

15 more weeks to go!

Last week when someone asked me how far along I was I answered, "24 weeks - I guess thats 6 months!" HOLY COW! I can't believe fast this pregnancy has flown by and that in about 3 months our little Sophie girl will be here! Its been about 2 months since I have last updated, so here is a quick update of life at the Henderson home...

At about 18 weeks I began to feel Sophie moving around. When 21 weeks rolled around, Josh felt her move! Sharing that moment with him was SOOO special! At 24, weeks we had another ultrasound where we got to hear her little heartbeat and see our adorable little girl. During that visit, the tech reported that we no longer need to worry about placenta previa and that Sophie is still breech. During our 5 month appointment, our doctor told us that only 3% of babies stay breech so we are saying our prayers that she moves into the correct position on her own.

Preparations for baby Sophie have begun! About a month ago we spent a whole weekend REGISTERING! It is a lot more difficult registering for a baby than registering for getting married. We pretty much went crazy with the scanners since we have no idea what we will need. Even when we weren't in the stores registering, we were online looking up reviews on the items we registered for and tried to decide which brands of items were better than others. If you have any suggestions on MUST have items, please let us know!

Last but not least we have finally started getting Sophie's room ready. We have cleared everything out of our "office" and made room for our newest addition to the family. It is crazy how much stuff we have accumulated these past (almost) 4 years of marriage! Here are a couple pictures of how this process is coming along...

Sophie's DADDY is a GREAT painter!

This is what her room looks like now that phase one is just about complete!
